LMUG SIGs

List of all the Special Interest Groups

LMUG Menu

Special Interest Groups (commonly referred to by User Groups as SIGs) are smaller groups of LMUG members who gather outside the monthly general meetings to discuss a particular topic. SIGs are learning activities. The format of each SIG is entirely dependent on the SIG leader and members. SIG leaders are not necessarily experts in the given topic (although they may be experts). Instead SIG leaders are ordinary members who are willing to coordinate the administration of the group (ie. set meeting times and locations, arrange agendas, etc..) LMUG provides resources and support to SIGs and SIG leaders by providing equipment, communications, and access to facilities. Membership dues support these activities.

LMUG currently supports the following SIGs:

  • Q&A SIG
  • Quicken/Quickbooks SIG
  • Digital Imaging SIG
  • If you are interested in forming a new SIG, please contact a member of the Board of Directors
