TOPIC: "WHAT IS AN MP3? WHAT DO I DO WITH IT? DRIVE

No driving lessons necessary. MP3 or mpeg3 files are compressed music files. This meeting will show you how to convert music CD's to mp3 format; you will learn what software is available to use and why you would want to convert. Two of our members, Tom Iacono & Bob Garrett, will be demonstrating two of the many free programs available - Windows Media Player and iTunes.

Welcome to our home page! The Lancaster Microcomputer Users Group (LMUG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and supporting computer users in Central Pennsylvania. We have approximately 200 members from Lancaster, York, Dauphin, Lebanon, and Berks county. In addition to a monthly general meeting, we support many SIGs (special interest groups) and annual workshops. We also publish a monthly newsletter (LMUG Notes). Membership is open to individuals, families and businesses. If you are considering purchasing, have already purchased, or use a PC at work or home, LMUG can be that resource you've been searching for.
